These feature films were photographed completely with 65/70 mm film. The technique was mainly used in the 60s although afterwards it has been sometimes used when filming special effects. 70 mm is usually the format for epics, war films, musicals and other films where wide aspect ratio is an advantage. Only few movie theaters are capable of showing 70 mm films in their original format. The list does not include 35 mm films which have been optically enlarged to 70 mm or flicks filmed partially in 70 mm.
