30 days, 30 songs
Day 02 - The first song I heard Note: I was born at home and right after I "came" out, my father put this LP on. He hoped I won't let my mother cry when I would grow up... That didn't work so well but Reggae has thus been part of my life from the very 1st moment (literally). johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 03 - A weird (funny) song Note: Actually, it is not really the song which is weird but the combination of the music with the videoclip. Day 05 - A song that reminds me of someone Note: Actually, I'm not a big fan of Marilyn Manson but back in France, I had a gothic (girl)friend who was a huge fan of him. Day 06 - A song that reminds me of somewhere Note: I spent a year in England and one of my roommates, a Spanish guy, had this CD. This songs always reminds the place where we lived. Day 07 - A song that reminds me of a certain event Note: Actually, I'm not a big fan of Robbie Williams and Take That but I went with my wife to see them in concert in Amsterdam and we had a great time. The second video is footage from the actual concert. johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 09 - A song that I know all the words to Note: Actually, I'm not sure I know all the lyrics (I'm not so good with this...) but it is an easy song and it must be closed to it. johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 10 - My daughter's favorite song Note: I tried to make my daughter Zoé (5 years old) listen to some good old Reggae from time to time and this song really sticked. Day 13 - A song from my favorite male vocalist Day 14 - A song from my favorite female vocalist johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 15 - A song that describes me Note: I know, the song is actually about a woman but a part from that, it fits quite well. johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 16 - A song that I used to love but now hate Note: When I was a kid, I thought this song was awesome. Of course, it now looks rather ridiculous. Actually, the tune is still catchy, don't you think? Day 17 - A song from an artist I wish more people liked johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 19 - A song from my favorite album Note: I'm not sure if it is my favorite album but it is definitely one of my favorite. johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 20 - A song that I listen to when I'm angry johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 21 - A song that I listen to when I'm sad Note: You may wonder what kind of language is this. It is a Dutch band but they don't sing in Dutch. They sing actually in West Frisian, a dialect spoken by about 500 000 people in the Netherlands. johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 25 - A song that I can play on an instrument Note: Back in the days when I played the saxophone, this was one of the songs I played with my very first band. Obviously, I played the Alto sax even though there is no brass on this version. Day 26 - My favorite song from Guitar Hero Note: This song itself is pretty cool but it is just totally awesome to play on Guitar Hero. I finished it a couple of times in "Hard" but I usually mess it up at the end. The first time, I took me 3 months of daily training to nail it (!). Day 28 - A song that changed my music taste in some way Note: Back then, I was interested in Reggae but, beside Bob Marley, I didn't know much about this music genre. Then, I saw those guys in concert, heard this song live and I was hooked for the rest of my life. Day 29 - A song from my childhood Note: I'm maybe now a Reggae boy but as a kid I definitely had some different musical taste. When I was 12 years old and started to get interested into music, the first genre that caught my interest was actually heavy metal - hard rock. I listened to different bands and one of my favorite was Iron Maiden. johanlefourbe's rating:
Day 30 - My favorite song from the last 6 months Note: I always loved Silk's voice but I never found his songs really impressive until I recently found this tune which just blew my mind. johanlefourbe's rating:

As the giraffe said, lots of stuff I'm not familiar with at all, and there's quite a lot of distance between our musical preferences. But I applaud you for a list well done!
