--------Day 1:The best movie you saw during the last year.---------
Yeah sure, the alien part of Super 8 was total BS, but the characters were likable and very entertaining, though I gotta say, they're kind of a rip off of the Goonies.
-----------------Day 2:The most underrated movie.------------------
Honestly, I found this way more tasteful than Monty Python's Holy Grail, but that could be because, for one thing, I don't really enjoy dark humour, and another, that I know a lot more about Norse Mythology than I do about the Holy Grail story.
------------------Day 5:Favorite love story in a movie.---------------
Lars is "in love" with a sex doll and Margo, a real girl, is in love with him. How the whole story presents itself and how the movie ends is really sweet and cute.
-------Day 11:Movie that changed your opinion about something.-------
When I first watched Gran Torino, I didn't think it would be any good, but I soon found out there was more to it then a old man being cranky for no reason lol.
--------------------Day 12:Movie that you hate.----------------------
Never in my life did I wanted a movie to end so badly. This was so boring, and dragged on forever. The character's were unlikable, especially Ethan Hawke's character, he was so selfish.
Gattaca's Sci Fi setting was quite dull and depressing, so really there wasn't anything going for this movie.
-----------------Day 13:Movie that is a guilty pleasure.---------------
Not so much of a guilty pleasure, I just think it's very different compared to other action flicks. Underworld actually has a good story, very well executed, and I love the setting and visuals.
--------------Day 16:Movie you used to love but now hate.-----------
I never liked this movie, I just didn't think it was that bad when I first saw it, it was just a bit boring. Now that I look back on it, Superbad has some of the most annoying main characters, ironically played by 2 of the most annoying actors, in my opinion.
-------------Day 17:Movie that disappointed you the most.------------
It honestly felt like my brain was literally dying from watching this. To be frank, I'm to blame for expecting some Sci Fi action to happen, like seeing the trip to the other Earth at least, but still.
----------Day 19:Favorite movie based on a book/comic book.---------
One of my all time favorite movies, I practically know every line. Love the atmosphere, the characters, the costumes, and the world is just so dark and submerging.
While I do like the Dark Knight, I will always think of Batman and Batman Returns as the best Batman movies. They're fun and feel more like the Batman cartoons I grew up with.
Pokemon was a big part of my early childhood, and I absolutely love the first movie. It's short, lovable, and I cry every time. Surely will forever hold a special place in my heart.
---------Day 26:Movie that you love but everyone else hates.----------
In my opinion, the best video game movie. Keeps loyal to the Silent Hill video games, bringing the same story in a different light. Unlike Resident Evil, some people may not have enjoy the Silent Hill movie because it's lack of action, but it is this that I liked, the fact that it doesn't abandon it's original genre to appeal to a certain audience.
This was truly a film made for fans, as the makers of this movie included appearances by the most popular monsters in the video games as well as the music by Akira Yamaoka.
-------------Day 28:Favorite Movie from Favorite Director.------------
So far, I've enjoyed every film I've ever seen from Kitano Takeshi. Hana-bi was the first I watched from him, and was really entertained all the way through. It has just the right amount of drama & action, a bit slow paced at first, but eventually picks up.
--------------------Day 29: Movie from your childhood.----------------
Saw it again recently, still an enjoyable flick, though I gotta say, it does drag on much longer than the norm for kids movies, which must have been killing our parents watching this back then.
-----------------Day 30:You're Favorite Film of All Time.---------------
Let the Right One In is such an stunning film. Visually is the most beautiful movie I've ever seen with great acting and an intriguing story. I could watch it over and over again and it would fascinate me just as much as the first time.
Love these reviews and I have totally agree on Super Bad. VERY overrated movie. The characters were down right annoying, if they can make it with barely any acting at all, I should be an actor too lol
