30 DAY MUSIC MEME!
the are the most obnoxiously, intoxicating, sweet, nice, happy song in the world. Other Choices Buddy Holly- "Words of Love" Al Bowlly- "Balloons" I don't understand any of it, but this is probably the saddest song I have ever heard. Other Choices Tsuneo Imahori- "Rakuen" major nostalgia here. I remember staying in the ski lodge trying to warm up before going out again, and I was playing Pokemon Crystal (my favorite game of all time) on my new Gameboy Advance, and I tried God knows how many times to beat the last battle. After at least an hour and a half, I beat it and I was so damn proud. Combined with my irrational love for this series and the vocals in this song, I bawl like a little kid. I am a cry-baby when it comes to any emotional song/movie/show/etc. No shame. BRODO's rating:
I stand by the fact that this is one of the worst songs ever written. no one person in particular, but rather everyone at my high school. (and Cab Calloway's dancing in this video reminds me of myself...) This one reminds me of my family and I going up to our lake place in Idaho. Because the classic rock radio station followed a set schedule on Saturday when we usually went up, this song always played when we got into the heavily wooded mountain areas. I can only think of winding, dirt roads and pine trees when I hear this song now. reminds me of field day in fifth grade. They played this continuously for about 4 hours. as much I love Queen, that was just too much. BRODO's rating:
I have to admit, the words to this were hard to learn, but god dammit, I learned them. Other Choices Guniw Tools- "DADA" What's better to dance to than good old rock and roll? Other Choices Lee Morse- "T'aint no Sin to Take Off Your Skin" Gnarls Barkley- "Going On" BRODO's rating:
yeah, yeah, not a band. but Bowie is my favorite artist, and this is one of my favorite songs of his. sadly, it's also from one of his most underrated albums. BRODO's rating:
Easily my least favorite band of all time. I don't even give a damn which album this piece of shit came off of. all I know is that this is the most obnoxious, unfunny shit I've ever had to listen to. and I'm sick of these wigger gangs of juggalos around here, I hope they get curb-stomped by the real gangs. lol, I sometimes don't tell people about my love for M.I.A. in general. Girls Generation- "Gee" BRODO's rating:
well, I AM a skinny, white, nerdy bitch, so I don't blame them for not knowing I listen to Gravediggaz. Other Choices Kyari- "Pamyu Pamyu (PONPONPON)" well, my friend said this song reminded her of me, and I can see it. none of the lyrics have any real meaning. I'm really not that deep of a person, I guess. BRODO's rating:
... I was 15, okay? luckily for me, I love this song, even though it makes me uncomfortably sad. BRODO's rating:
If there was a day for "song that gives you a massive lady-boner", this would be it. But it makes me as angry as it makes me horny, so this slot will have to do. BRODO's rating:
this is a remnant of my Gothic Country phase in my life, but I will never stop loving this, depressing, depressing song. BRODO's rating:
I don't really work out, but i like to listen to this when i clean the house. fact: I try to dance like the people in the video. I'm no good, but I wish I could look that cool. BRODO's rating:
oh my god, this song. ;_; oh lordy. Have this playing and then drape a movie screen over me. God knows I love this song and this album, but I just cannot figure out the lyrics to this thing. the lyric "her bellybutton was her mouth which means she tasted what she'd speak, whoo!" gets me everytime. BRODO's rating:
I can sort of play a bastardized version of it on the guitar. Making music just isn't my thing. I wish I could destroy a piano like this man. This was my favorite show as a kid, and I'm pretty sure it's subconsciously the reason I love jazz. all of the songs make me nostalgic, but this one is particularly great. "I've Got Ford Movements In My Hips". pretty much every track title on this album is trashy and I love it for that. lol this was from when I was going through my Electronic-Gypsy music phase. (I still love this song, though.) |
