Nice! I've only seen the Colombian one, so I'm still pretty out of the loop this year. It's too bad that The Skin I Live In lost the Goya (Spain's version of the Oscars), which leaves it out of the running.
Yep, I haven't seen any of these films but it is nice to see Wim Wenders and Kaneto Shindô on the list. The inclusion of a Béla Tarr film was a bit of a surprise... ha... I really have to catch up on my film watching :)
Alright! I've watched none. Been a while since I've come across a 61 item list that I can say that about.
Maybe if I'm feeling truly ambitious I'll dub February "Foreign Film February" and knock off a few of these and a bunch of others I've been meaning to get to.
Anyhoo, I'll be interested to check back in January.
Not a very fancy list for me... just nice to see what get submitted and what gets selected :)

While I love Wim Wenders his 3D documentary isn't something that would ever draw me to the theater.
Not too surprised that Miss Bala (2011) got cut. A little too political perhaps.
But anyways, I'm a bit surprised that Flowers of War did not go through. It's a great film!
