11 Books I'd Bring to a Deserted Island
The best book I ever read. I just like to have it with me.
Mackenzi's rating:
The most beautiful book I ever read; reading it is like finding an oasis of beauty, and it gives you a lot to think about, so it'll keep my mind busy.
Mackenzi's rating:
A book that I've come to love more than any actual religious text. It'll help me get through the hard times.
Mackenzi's rating:
I can't get by on just the spiritual/beautiful stuff, I need a little sexy entertainment as well.
Mackenzi's rating:
The first book I read of the series, it's the most meaningful to me, even though it's also very sad. A good one for when my last days may be spent in isolation.
Mackenzi's rating:
I probably wouldn't read it often, it is so sad, but I'd like to have it just in case. To feel like someone else is going through what I am deserted and all alone.
Mackenzi's rating:
A book to remind me about the good, wholesome things I won't be able to have anymore.
Mackenzi's rating:
I've never read this book so I figure I'd want something new there with me, to help keep me sane. And it's got a relevant plot.
Adventure and a little horror. It takes me a while to get through Crichton books so it'll help pass the time.
Mackenzi's rating:
I like to read Ivanhoe every few years to see how differently I interpret the story, and I bet it'll be a whole new experience if I'm stuck on an island.

I'd need a steamer trunk to take all the books I'd want with me if I were stuck on an island...or perhaps a notebook or laptop w/ a nuclear battery that never ran out, where I could store them all. ;D
