10 hated / annoying characters of all time!
Character: Archie Andrews + all the others!
Hated or annoying?: Hated Everyone is familiar with Archie right? Everyone has read at least one comic book during their lifetime. Now, he is not your average teenager. In fact, he is such a big klutz & such a doofus that he cannot salute without thumbing his own eye. Now, back to the topic. Why is he hated? Because he is the most WORST teen idol ever. He is not funny, nor smart and whatever he does arouses subliminal messages and the word controversy is literally stamped on his forehead. Many of you may be asking why? I'll you why... Many of my friends (and my younger 2 sisters) are avid fans of Archie Comics. Whatever Archie does in the pages (98% of them are pure immature and stupid), Betty Cooper & Veronica Lodge always pass that off by saying how cute he is and how they cannot live without him blah blah blah! Many of my friends literally copy all of his antics in real life and what happens next? The girl simply walks by and the onlookers just simply laugh. From my female friends, they try to copy Veronica and her pitiful, snobby lifestyle and, of course, it led to ultimate disaster, losing their reputation and respect along the way! Now, you see, almost every female in Riverdale is practically a whore, cuz every female is seen with not 1, not 2 but instead 4-5 boyfriends. But since we are talking about our pal Archie here, i will continue on him. He is hopelessly addicted to Ron & Betty like Paris Hilton is attracted to controversy. Could this be a subliminal message for drugs? If your brain is sharp, you will figure out what i actually mean! Next, we have Archie's several puppy loves. Isn't it safe to assume that he must have done it at least once? Come on, you know exactly what I'm talking about! Just think about it. He does nothing all day but keep thinking about girls and when he does, it shows in his 'thought bubbles', so isn't it possible that he goes horny? He is also the worst stereotype for those All-American males and everything... No wonder they get such negative reviews nowadays, or at-least as far as i know of! These reasons may not sound very strong and some may not make sense but I'm trying to prove that Archie is not at all innocent as he, or any-other character in the comics, appear to be and kids are being influenced by it right now as you are reading this! He is not a very likable character and surely i don't feel anything for him. I just hope that either Veronica or Betty just dump this trash-of-a-character once and for all and find someone better but of course they can't, because every guy in Riverdale has at-least 5 Ex's and all of them surprisingly keep bouncing back. Character: Pepe Le Pew!
Hated or annoying: Both but more on the annoying side! ![]() A romantic Skunk? No seriously, a Skunk? Sure, France is the most romantic where-magic-happens place in the world but that doesn't mean even the animals too. I mean, like the above, he too is a worst stereotye for France. It's killing France, actually. There's one Skunk he is so hopelessly attached to that whenever she walks by or should he think of her, he gets a shot of pure spasm. Now, could there be a hidden message behind to all this? Character: Olive Oyl!
Hated or annoying: Annoying, a totally unneccessary character! "POPEYE"... How can Popeye take that annoying screeching voice is beyond anyones guess. She is not even attractive and whenever her annoyingly long neck and limbs start flapping in the wind, i just feel like sawing them off with a chainsaw! She can't be even bloody cute when she has to. What do you see in her Popeye? Give her to Bluto already! Character: Le Fou!
Hated or annoying? Hated, despised, loathed! ![]() He is the eternal sidekick to Gaston. Now, this dude has absolutely no free will of his own. Whatever Gaston says him to do, he does. He even starts licking Gaston's shoes in a song segment. Unlike Gaston, he is more sadistic and undesirable. He is not even, should i quote Sgt. Hartman, "Human-Fucking-Being". Sorry for the bad language but he deserves it. This person is also controversial because of the way he so hopelessly follows and obeys and sticks around Gaston all the time. I think of him as a Misogynistic, Homosexual character. Who agrees? Happy Vader's rating:
Character: Scrappy Doo!
Hated or annoying? Hated, annoying and fullcut unneccessary character! ![]() The nephew to one of the most beloved and recognisable dogs in history: Scooby Doo! He is not ever cute, nor likable. He is a pain! Major pain! Tell me, what do kids think of when they hear Scrappy say a thing like this: "Let me at him, i can fight him. Just let me get my paws on him!" Flowers? No, they start imitating that character in real life and it all leads to violence. Hey, that has a great psychological impact, man! Character: Barney!
Hated or annoying? Hated Let me start off saying that Barney is homo. Any character all purple is homo! This one-dimensional frozen smile dinosaur is a very, very bad role model for kids. Sure, there's no harm in happiness right? No, i support that but only happiness, nomadder what the condition is? No, that i don't support. Barney doesn't even try to show anything except that a few dance steps here, a few songs here and viola! You are happy as anything. Any character who cannot show all emotions correctly is, well, plain stupid + he is very scary... Who in the right mind would wanna dance with this dinosaur and sleep with him? Happy Vader's rating:
Character: Chewbacca!
Hated or annoying: Annoying Don't get me wrong, i love the Star Wars franchise but this particular character NO! What do people see in this Wookie anyways? If he could talk, then i personally think he would've been a very interesting character but instead became one of the most annoying. It was almost direful to watch him with all his grunting and unusual sound effect and god knows what. I liked C-3PO better! At least he could speak! Happy Vader's rating:

Maybe you could finish the list before you publish it? :)
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time! Totally agree, dude!
I think Homophobics are more annoying, stupid and hated than any character ever made ;)
Chewbacca is amazing, I love him :DDDDD
While I don't agree with some of them, I can feasibly see most of the characters on this list.
and when i was kid, barney.
but seriously, spongebob is amazing :D
I would take Chewbacca over Jar Jar Binks anyday. As a matter of fact, I would suggest you replace Chewie with Jar Jar on this list.
I find Barney both hated and annoying, but mostly annoying.
Scrappy Doo is totally unneccessary. He displays the classic Napoleonic complex. Always trying to make up for his size by acting tough. It is strange that although his body is small, his head is the same size as Scooby Doo's.
I find Scooby Doo annoying as hell too, with that voice he ripped off from Astro of the Jetsons.
Le Fou is totally in awe of Gaston. He loves him almost as much as Gaston loves himself.
Olive Oyl has no figure to speak of. As you mentioned, she is all arms and legs. She wears the same corny outfit and those shoes look like army boots. Her hairstyle is just pulled back into a bun/ponytail thing that looks like a link sausage. I could never understand why Bluto and Popeye would fight endlessly over her.
I like Pepe. The only critique I can make is his cartoons tend to be repetative. But then again, so is the Roadrunner. One thing that is clever is the creative ways the writers come up with to make the female cat come to appear as a skunk. There are some very unique ways of getting that white stripe on her back. I don't know who should be more offended, France or Charles Boyer?
I am embarassed to admit I used to read Archie comics when I was a kid. They were so uncool. No monsters, no fighting, no shooting, and no superheroes (except for the short time that Archie and his friends had superhero alter-egos like Pureheart. That was Betty's. Jughead and Archie had alter-egos, too, but I can't rmember their names. They even had a series where they were secret agents during the spy-craze as 'The Man from A.R.C.H.I.E.'. He battled the evil forces of K.R.U.S.H.
But most of the time Archie was just mundane. Sometimes Betty and Veronica would be fighting over him. Sometimes he would be trying to get Veronica to notice him, or in competition with Reggie for her attention.
Sometimes Reggie would have a crush on Midge, who was the girlfriend of Big Moose, and he would almost always get the pulp beat out of him.
Jughead loved food but hated girls. He was never portrayed as gay, but a teenager who hates girls? Come on! He was able to eat huge amounts of food and remain skinny as a rail.
Big Ethel was in love with Jughead. She was big and ugly and kept Jug on his toes trying to avoid her.
Betty was the good girl that always seemed to get overshadowed by Veronica when trying to get Archie. She seemed to actually love him as opposed to Veronica, who just wanted to play with his emotions.
At Riverdale High, you had the principal, Mr. Weatherbee for Archie to annoy, along with Miss Grundy and Coach Kleats.
Looking back, this was more of a girl's comic. Nothing manly or macho about it. I must have appeared like a big sissy reading Archie!
I am not even going to go into my disappointment with the cartoon series when it premiered.
