A good list, but some Jack classics were overlooked.

The Last Detail was already mentioned.
Five Easy Pieces had the famous diner scene.
The Missouri Breaks.
The Postman Always Rings Twice.
Carnal Knowledge.
Going South.
Hoffa.
Ironweed.
Prizzi's Honor.
The Bucket List.

Don't agree with the last two at all. He has a lot of better characters than that. But other than that a good list.

Yeah i have to check out some more Jack Nicholson films. Still lot to discover from this great man.

His role as the Joker had more influence on my youth with movies. Chinatown came to my attention only at the early stages of the noughties.
