Casting A Golden Age Batman Picture... (10 person items)

" Why I'd cast him as Commissioner James Gordon: He looked like early comic book Gordon, and from seeing him in several Greta Garbo pictures and "Love Finds Andy Hardy", I know Mr. Stone could play an authority figure comfortably, without coming across too stiff, cold, or humourless. As a government official or father, he had a natural authoritative way about him, but at the same time, he could show kindness and vulnerability. That balance is essential for the Jim Gordon character."
