About: She played in the films Fame and Chicago. She was born as Laura Francine Deutscher and is a graduate from the High School of Performing Arts. When she was ten years, she played the New York City Opera for five years in La bohème, Die tote Stadt and Mefistofele.

She is also known for playing Rachel's colleague Sophie in the 3rd and 4th seasons of Friends.

Now she is married to a doctor and has two children, living in New York City.
