About: Kim Cloutier is a Canadian model, born on March 25, 1987 in Montreal. Modeling job came automatically to her, because her father, Michel Cloutier, is a fashion photographer. Her family consist in her parents and one brother and they have always supported Kim throughout her career, they are her biggest fans who are really happy and proud of her. Kim started modeling for Next Montreal agency when she was 15. The very first job she had was a show for Montréal’s fashion week and her most awkward modeling moment is also connected with her first job. They have put confetti on the floor. So when she went out the confetti stuck to her shoes, her foot slipped, she forgot to stop at the end of the runway because she was too nervous and her pants fell down…

Although Modeling business is very time consuming thing, Kim always paid big attention to studying, she even turned down a contract in Morocco because she couldn’t miss her exams. Finally After a term in a Quebec CEGEP, she decided to dedicate herself fully to modeling.

Kim says she enjoys modeling, but for her all the traveling to get to the jobs and being on her own, alone is the hardest part of these business. So far she has done advertising and catalogue work for several brands, calendar for charitable works, fashion shows, lots of editorial work, she appeared on the cover of Nikki style Magazine, Elle Quebec, Lush Magazine, Flare. But according to Kim what you see in the pictures isn’t her at all in real life. She said she’s not a girly girl and that she never wears makeup. She just goes out in her running shoes and trys to keep simple style.

Her biggest jump in career was her shoot for SI 2008. Kim has met the people from SI magazine for the first time in 2007, who seemed interested, but unfortunately Kim wasn’t hired. She saw them again in 2008 and they optioned her, and finally Kim got the job. They didn’t even ask her to put on a swimsuit.
