About: Keane are an English alternative rock band from Battle, East Sussex, formed in 1997. The group currently comprises Tim Rice-Oxley (piano, backing vocals), Tom Chaplin (lead vocals, guitar), Richard Hughes (drums, percussion) and Jesse Quin (bass guitar, percussion), who first played with the band in late 2007 during the concerts of the single The Night Sky. Under the Iron Sea is the second studio album by English rock band Keane, released in 2006. During its first week on sale in the UK, the album went to #1, selling 222,297 copies according to figures from the Official Chart Company. In the United States, the album came in at #4 on the Billboard 200, selling 75,000 units in its first week. As of 22 January, the album had sold above 3,000,000 copies worldwide.
The band describes Under the Iron Sea as a progression from Hopes and Fears with electronic influences, describing the record as a "sinister fairytale-world-gone-wrong".

Perfect Symmetry is the third studio album by English rock band Keane, released on 13 October 2008 in the United Kingdom. The album's title was released on 31 July 2008. The band had completely transformed their look and their new album was said to be also very unexpected. According to international Island Records manager, Jon Turner, "the general international feel is of excitement and "Spiralling" is a favourite track of the US company."

Strangeland is the fourth studio album by English alternative rock band Keane. It will be released on 7 May 2012. It is their first full length album since Perfect Symmetry (2008). The album's name and track listing were revealed in late February 2012.
"Silenced By the Night" was released as the album's lead single worldwide except for the United Kingdom on 13 March 2012.[3] Keane performed "Silenced By the Night" for the first time on 12 March on American talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
