Favorite Characters (228 person items)

"The Master ('Harold Saxon') John Simm gives a hilarious performance as the insanely evil but nevertheless entertaining Time Lord, 'The Master.' His early episodes are the best, every mannerism and line the writers give him in those is pure genius. I'm kind of sad to see him go, even though he wanted to take over the world and destroy humanity so it was probably for the best. Doctor Who"

Imaginary Boyfriends (49 person items)

"My Master Boyfriend. Even as the Doctor's ultimate frenemy, he managed to bring a glimmer of humanity amid all the maniacal destructiveness. He also absolutely shines in "Life on Mars" as the humane, by-the-books, serious copper trapped back in time in a place where such traits are not at all admired. He's not traditionally handsome, but has something in him that really works for me. "

My Favorite Characters (10 person items)

"DI Sam Tyler Is he mad, in a coma, or back in time? The protagonist of Life on Mars is prickly, stubburn, arrogant, and somewhat mad. In a lot of ways he's a prick. Why do I love him then? Because he clearly cares about others and is a good man. He is smart, articulate, and snarky. He's not perfect by any means, but his many faults add to his appeal. Plus, he looks pretty when he cries and looks angsty, which is alot."

Best Doctor Who Villains (10 person items)

"The Master The Master is the only remaining Time Lord other than The Doctor. The Master unleashes an army called the Toclafane, destroying most humans on earth. The Master controls the remaining humans through an hypnotising rhythm of four beats, broadcast through all the worlds mobile phones. Frightening Factor: 9/10"
