yes, among the hundreds there are to choose from, either live or studio version, extended or remixes, what is your FAVORITE Beatles song and why? Though it is tough to pick one, there has to be a certain one you look for whenever you get to that section of your music.

Mine would have to be "We Can Work it Out", because it's simple and ridiculously catchy; and I can relate to it or feel better no matter what mood I am in.

Your Turn.

It's hard to say, because it does change a bit with my mood, and I love so many of their songs. But I do love "All You Need Is Love" because the message isn't simple love song fodder, and the lyrics just make me happy. :)

I'm also very fond of "Fool on the Hill" and "Across the Universe," among many others.

I've always had a spot for 'While my guitar gently weeps' on my MP3 player.

Eleanor Rigby

Why?
The first serious song from what was previously just a pop group/boy band. In a 1967 interview Pete Townshend of the Who commented "I think "Eleanor Rigby" was a very important musical move forward. It certainly inspired me to write and listen to things in that vein" Which is reason enough. In 2004, this song was ranked number 137 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.

That's so hard to decide...

I guess I'd vote for "Here comes the sun" -

though "8 days a week" or "ticket to ride" are just as close.
