OR if we have a group of brave people.. what movie scared you even a little? Not sure if anyone cares but Psycho Scared the shit out of me. To this day, Whenever I can, I shower with the door open; and if possible I avoid showering at night.... CURTAINS! don't get me started! I saw this movie for the first time when I was at Universal Studios at the age of 5. that night my teeth were chattering as I stepped into the shower and peeked through the curtains every ten seconds to make sure there were no lunatics with a knife pointed at me. Now it's Your Turn. |

Yes, Titanic gave me a fear, sad lol...Pet Sematary 1 and 2 did a good job of creeping me out around dead animals and burial sites... though not much Slither didn't scare me necessarily, but it did a good job of grossing me out... I never saw the ending qaurter or so though cuz my little brother didn't want to watch it... I'm not sure what movie I got this from, but I have an intense fear of having needles or knives of any sort near my wrists, honestly, I'd rather die or risk dying under and anesthetic before I get jab there... Can't think of anymore, I'm sure there are, but I don't remember them... |

I'll have to agree with you on that one. Was sitting in a dark room by myself and the suspense was almost unbearable. We're in agreeance on that one, and on The Descent as well it seems. |

Sometimes they'd show X-rated films, usually horror never porn, and they never had any sort of age restriction, so all the local kids used to get, pay our ten bob (50p) & get a chance to see some seriously scary films. We watched stuff like Driller Killer & I Spit On Your Grave, these films got banned in the UK because of their scenes of graphic violence, and here was our local WMC letting all the kids in to watch 'em. Anyhow the one film that really, really got me was Friday The 13th. It sh|t me up big time. After the film I run home like you never known, in the dark, up the gennels & alleys, I was off, no fooker was gonna get me, I was like the wind. I jumped into bed & was under the covers. My mum hearing me come in & go to bed come up to say goodnight, thing is I didn't hear her come upstairs & as she pulled back the duvet I let out a blood-curdling scream of sheer terror. I don't know who was more scared me or her!! |

That's like saying you never got emotional to a disney movie. if not, may I suggest watching the movie High Tension (if you havent already) in the dark by yourself. |

For me, I have a hard time separating what's real and what isn't when watching a movie, and when I watch a horror flick my imagination runs wild. Other people are better at seeing the movie as just a movie.I know a lot of people who are like that - it's definitely possible. |

I just was freaked out the the fact that the guy lived less than 4 hours away from me. And could possibly still be alive...heading to my house...And of course the first time watching The Exscorist I nearly collapsed. |

Posted : 11 months, 1 week ago at Dec 21 8:55 - The Tooth fairy and It were definetly frightening, but the one that scared me so much that I had nightmares for about two-three months was, just for shit and giggles,Signs. Yes, Signs, the movie by the genius director, M. Knight Shamalan. I was young when I saw it, about twelve or thirteen, and it scared me pretty bad. I would hide under the covers until my mom came to tuck me in (I loved talking to my mom before I went to bed, sadly now she works late most days and I can't do that much anymore). I remained motionless, the fear in my gut was so intense I couldn't breathe. I have a crazy and very vivid imagination, and I would always see them standing over me, waiting for the slightest movement in the covers so they can attack me.... =3 hehe, I'm sure most of you may find that hilarious as I do now, but it wasn't at the time. That movie was freaky, and I haven't watched it since XP. |

Where people die by losing a computer game.Silent Hill, oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh, that's another one -_- The Exorcist really frightened me, no comments. You get this sort of adrenaline when you watch a horror movie at night you feel someone is behind you when you're alone. |

My mother made huge fun of me because I was so scared; I guess because it's a real story, is why it scared me. But I'm atheist, so. I don't know. |

And even then I can only recall 4 titles:- Mulholland Dr.: The scene with the narrated nightmare. In the moment this weird guy shows up behind the edge...booya! - Ringu I-III: I watched the whole trilogy back-to-back alone and in the dark. In that night I coudn't sleep anymore, tumbled up, turned the lights on and went THEN to sleep. :D |

Posted : 2 months, 1 week ago at Sep 21 17:28 - Halloween II. When I was super young, a friend of mine wanted to watch this movie because her parents rented it and she wanted to see it before they took it back. So, when her parents went out for a couple of hours, she invited me over and we sat down to watch it. I was scared to death!! For the longest time afterwards, every time I saw the simple, plain white mask in Halloween catalogs, it would send shivers down my spine.Nowadays, I am a pretty big horror fan, but I still have not been able to watch any part of the series. I think it's mostly from lack of time as opposed to lack of courage. I do have plans to at least watch a couple of the movies this Halloween, tho. |
