I like this movie a lot. It has a pretty nice plot with great characters. the graphics are pretty good for such an early PS2 release and the story is pretty well thought out, especially with the encyclopedia to look up terms in. I liked this feature a lot; the characters are supposed to know the terms so it makes sense that they don't explain a lot of them in script like they do in most stories. All in all, I'd say it's a great movie. What, you're saying it's NOT a movie? Oh yeah. There's a game somewhere in those cutscenes, which is why it gets a 7/10. Gameplay is okay. Not groundbreaking, decently difficult compared to simpler RPGS, but the great fault of it is that...there is no real amount of gameplay you could call a game.
