"The SNES is my favourite console not because it performed the best or can play other forms of media or can be backwards compatible. It's my favourite because the plethora of games it offers are just mind blowingly incredible, covering all game genres, the RPG department especially being riddled with amazing games and each having their own bonafide stone cold classics and did a great job catering to third party developers, even leaving the SNES version of a game being superior than its competitor"
"Lots of classic games and time eaten up by this rig. Glad to see a lot of them being ported to the Virtual Console, though I would love to have my old system back to play it the way it's meant to be played! Also, love the cartridges. Bring back the cartridges! Let's use flash drives or something. Fuck these easily damaged CDs/DVDs/Blurays."
"The SNES just beats out the original Playstation to the number one spot. The list of great RPG's is long with numerous Squaresoft games like Final Fantasy VI,IV and V, Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana along with other greats like Illusion of Gaia, Soul Blazer, Breath of Fire, Earthbound, Mario RPG, Dragon Quests and Star Ocean. If your a fan of the RPG genre these games are the best of the best and can be played as ports on other systems. The SNES more than deserves the crown of Greatest RPG Co"

"Day 11 - Gaming System of Choice: Super Nintendo Entertainment System
When I finally get my dream setup for a home entertainment system, my Super Nintendo Entertainment System will occupy a place of honor. I'm not going to lie, there is TONS of nostalgia value here for me. As much as I love my Xbox 360, I find their absurdly high failure rate inexcusable. I've never once had a SNES fail on me, or die, or just glitch out or lock up. I've had mine for roughly 20 years. 20 years without a sin"

"This was another gift from my grandmother which she must have given us in 1993 because from what I remember this was given to us a year after the Genesis was. It was another great system."
