I love everything about SMB3! The music, the gameplay, the variety of levels, the length of the game, the power-ups, the variety of enemies, the hidden shortcuts and special itemst - every part of the game is pure perfection. This is the best platform game ever released. I played this game for hours and hours - i memorized every secret area, every hidden block, every trick in the book. And I'm ... read more

Super Mario Bros. 3 introduces a number of advances to the Super Mario Bros. series: the addition of a map screen, minigames, and many new power-ups, enemies, and level types. The red-haired appearance for Bowser (which would become standard in every subsequent Mario title) was introduced in this game. It also features the first appearance of Bowser's children, the Koopalings. Unlike Super Mario Bros. 2 (international version), it remains true to the original Super Mario Bros. gameplay formula. It consistently places high on 'greatest games of all time' lists.

My favorite game soundtracks (20 games items)

"I never owned the game but I played it basically every time I visited my cousin's in the 90's and I also borrowed this numerous times until my NES broke down and I switched to the Playstation(This switch is the reason why there isn't that much of Nintendo game's in this list since I've never owned another Nintendo system after that).
