Super Fighters is a bit of an unknown. I can't find any information on it regarding publisher, developer, or release date...I'm not even sure if Super Fighters 99 is its actual name or not. I think it may be a bootleg due to the fact that the game contains King of Fighters/Fatal Fury characters...and at the time, SNK had this thing called the Neo-Geo Pocket Color, which was attempting to compete with the Game Boy Color. I couldn't find any info on this title regarding if Super Fighters 99 is its actual name or not. Nor could I find any box art. What I did find out upon playing, however, is that this (from what I can tell, anyway) is the only King of Fighters/Fatal Fury game that made its way onto the Game Boy Color handheld.
