Over 10 years have passed since Prince of Persia's debut, and computer game technology has improved exponentially. Red Orb Entertainment puts that technology to good use in the attractive Prince of Persia 3D, the third--and hopefully not last--title in the popular series.
Players assume the role of the Prince of Persia, who's once again forced to fight through an increasingly difficult set of areas to track down the kidnapped Princess. During the adventure, you'll battle guards, bandits, and other evil henchman while utilizing a varied selection of melee and bow weaponry. Crafty level design ensures plenty of familiar lever, floor panel, and rope-swinging puzzles. (Watch out for those spike traps!) Maneuvering the Prince within the new 3-D environment is perhaps the only minor gripe; lining up jumps and navigating tunnels with the sometimes too-fast Prince can become a tricky endeavor. Boasting startling 3-D graphics, dazzling levels, and familiar, easy-to-learn gameplay, Prince of Persia 3D should both delight old fans and collect many new ones.
