"Amazing! I can't wait to get the 2nd one. This game was way too short for how fun it was. It was really cool playing a puzzle game in first person view, I liked that. The game was also hilarious, for having only 2 main characters the plot was highly entertaining and ever line of dialogue made me smile if not laugh out loud. Portal sets the bar for other video game writing. It was also really creepy at times, which I wasn't expecting, but that only increased the entertainment value. Everything "

Although it does seem to drag on a bit towards the end, but not enough to ruin it or lower it's score, just enough to lower it a few notches on my favorite games of all-time list. Also unique for an FPS, in that you don't ever even have a proper "Gun," just a tool to place portals on walls, floors, and ceilings. "

"Quite possibly the perfect game. It's inherent shortness and charm are what make it so good, but also limit it's rise on my list. “When i first heard of the game, portal 2 was already out and i played that one first. Just because i am stupid to do so! Anyways! This game was really nice. Some of the tests were strange but not that hard. I loved how GladOS was trolling us all the way to the end. And don't believe her about the cake! In the game, you are supposed to be a test subject. They give you a gun that makes holes and you get through them. There are a few simple tests and a few harder tests that need timing or precision. It's a really good game. Just remember to pay attention to the lady that talks and never believe her!” read more

"GLaDOS Although GLaDOS is terribly sadistic and "passive-aggressive" I find her very likeable. Her dark, sarcastic humour often made me chuckle. After she was allied with Chell in Portal 2 she seems to have developed some feelings towards her, also showing slight evidence that some part of Caroline is still inside her which would make her more empathic. I shouldn't like her because she's so cruel but since I like villains it's not really surprising. "
