Pokémon Black Version features the same handheld RPG and Adventure gameplay that has consistently thrilled Nintendo DS players, both young and more experienced, but it also introduces players to the all-new Unova region. Brought to life with improved graphics, Unova is a mix of urban and natural landscapes in which players are just as likely to encounter skyscrapers and bridges, as they are to walk alongside mountains and seascapes. It is of course also filled with a potent blend of all-new Pokémon, including the Legendary Vast White Pokémon Reshiram and the Deep Black Pokémon Zekrom. Stepping into the role of either a male or female Trainer, players further have their choice of their first Pokémon, who will serve as the first of many Pokémon companions in their travels through Unova, as they attempt to capture every wild Pokémon variety available and test their skills against other Trainers in turn-based battles.

The Legendary Pokémon Reshiram appears on the cover of Pokémon Black Version and the Legendary Pokémon Zekrom is seen on the cover of Pokémon White Version. "
Scepticism plagued me when I saw that there's going to be a fifth generation of Pokemon. I love Pokemon but since the third generation, I think its completely running itself to the ground with newer and newer Pokemons getting added, most of them are pretty useless and never improving its core gameplay but instead putting gimmicky aesthetics to its multiplayer feature. Black/White is still is the same old Pokemon game but I have to admit, it is a lot better than the fourth generation. The graphi"

"Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version feature new Pokemon that players can catch, train and battle as they progress through the game, and some Pokemon can only be caught in one version of the game. For example, the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram can only be caught in Pokemon Black Version, while the Legendary Pokemon Zekrom can only be caught in Pokemon White Version. Additionally, the two games feature different areas for the first time in the series, with the game world of Pokemon Black "

As I stated in the above comments, I like White better for pretty dumb reasons (but they're still reasons, dang it!) but Black is essentially the same game...And the title makes it sound cooler. Anyway, like I mentioned above, Pokemon fans will love the Black and White games and both are worth playing if you'd like to catch 'em all. The handhelds were a mega hit, the anime series was at that time doing extremely well, the training cards are everywhere that wasn’t banned, there were tons of products in stores like I remember eating a cereal with marshmallows of Pokemon, and it was very controversy on parts of the world. Now during 2003-2005 after playing Pokemon Sapphire, I lost interest and got into after things during that time. Than in 2006/2007, I found myself getting back into the series realizing how it’s ridiculous fun and addicting it is. It isn’t the story that make the game good, its the gameplay and replay valve that made it what it is today. Last year, GameFreak releas” read more
