What can change the nature of a man? This is the central question posed to the character of this game, the Nameless One. As The Nameless One, you must discover your past, and as you find out, the many past lives you have lived. The Nameless One has been "killed" many times, but as an immortal he always awakens from this temporary death, only sometimes being killed erases his memory.
Description:I was awakened on a cart which the zombies just pushed into the room, closing the doors behind them. The dim light allowed me to see the dead bodies scattered around the room, lying on tables and waiting for the zombie workers to take them away. I looked at myself. What are those scars all over my face? What are those tattoo markings I was awakened on a cart which the zombies just pushed into the room, closing the doors behind them. The dim light allowed me to see the dead bodies scattered around the room, lying on tables and waiting for the zombie workers to take them away. I looked at myself. What are those scars all over my face? What are those tattoo markings on my back? And, most importantly - who am I?
Maybe the floating skull, who calls himself Morte, will explain it to me? It is difficult for me to understand why Morte decided to accompany me on my quest for identity. I know only I don't remember anything. Memories of love, a woman's face, good and bad deeds of my life - all this has been replaced now by the dreadful reality of the mortuary.
And so my journey began. I, The Nameless One, opened the doors of the mortuary, only to dive into a world full of strange encounters, grotesque characters, broken hopes, despair and hatred. Piece by piece I'll try to solve the puzzle and to discover who I am.
Featuring the real-time-with-pause Infinity Engine, employed in "Baldur's Gate", this is a role-playing game using a heavily altered variation of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, 2nd Edition, rules. The flexible customization of the main character allows you to make him virtually anything you want to, and the party of unique and grotesque characters is almost as customizable as the hero himself. Unlike most other RPGs, your hero can't permanently die in this game, with the exception of the very last and the most dangerous quest.... (more)(less)

"The game in which I am most dedicated right now. Tons of background reading for a extremely well-made universe. I have almost 10 hours and I haven't advanced pretty much on the story, but it's really immersive."

The Nameless One has lived many lives, and has been killed many times. Though death isn't exactly a career-ending injury in his case. Sometimes though, what it does is wipe his memory. This time, you must piece together your past, your many pasts, in fact. The se"

Another great RPG/adventure game. I wish they still made games like these. You wake up in a crypt, not remembering who you are, and not knowing whether you are dead or alive. Are you in hell? This game is quite remiscent of Fallout series, just different theme, and just as good! You have many ways of doing things to keep things interesting.
