"The only game that makes the list not based on nostalgia. I owned this game for years without ever touching it until just a couple months ago. The depth of the story, the wide variety of settings, the amazing soundtrack, and the improvements made to the already familiar goldeneye engine definitely make this a must play game for the console. It's just too bad we never got the Japanese box art here.

"Awesome multiplayer. Perfect Dark added a lot of good ideas to the already great Goldeneye multiplayer formula. With cool weapons, game modes, bots, awards and stat tracking, this game had a ton of replay value for me. Single player was not the game's strong point, though entertaining, it was still my favorite N64 game."

"Goldeneye 1.5. I loved Goldeneye and then this game even more when it came out. You could play with your friends against some pesky bots now as well as against them. You could pick each individual gun and go through campaign with a buddy. Then throw in those god for-saken challenges and you have a bundle of fun. Not much bad about this game other than having to get an expansion pack...well worth it."
"While I was never crazy about the singe-player campaign, I do admit that the multiplayer had a lot new to offer from Rare's previous hit--Goldeneye. Granted, it's mostly just new weapons, but that didn't mean we wouldn't spend hours playing it to death."

"This game I've played a countless amount of times amongst friends, especially whilst drinking and we'd just lose time in the multiplayer mode, killing sims. or doing the challenges."
"My memories of this game are mostly the multiplayer and hours upon hours of time me and my friend spent either on a team against or working with one another, using perfect venge sims, it was a blast and I still am just amused with the laptop gun today as I was when I first played through the game"
