The Misadventures of Tron Bonne takes Mega Man Legends' 3-D engine and sprinkles in elements of puzzle games, role-playing games, and of course, action games to produce a unique and challenging hybrid game.
Tron has several missions to complete-but she does get a little help from some mechanical friends. The anime-style character is able to control a number of different robots, including a mech with treads and a digger. These friendly little robots, known as Servbots, can scout out new items that help in the game-but they must first be trained. Each little robot seems to have its own personality and is prone to laziness unless properly inspired.
Tron Bonne seems to have just the right mix of graphics and gameplay, as well as cute voice acting and a memorable cast of characters. It may not be Mega Man Legends 2, but The Misadventures of Tron Bonne should satisfy fans of the popular series. --Robb Guido
Pros: Adorable anime graphics Lots of variety and minigames Cons: Game is painfully easy near the beginning
""I won’t sit here and act like The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but if all games contained the level of creativity that was present here the gaming world be a much better place. That said, there is a tinge of sadness to be had with the experience in Tron Bonne: namely that this kind of game would never, ever be produced in the modern area of video gaming.""
