Only containing 4 of the original 6 bosses, Mega Man is still a decent title, but lacks some of the fun and longevity of the NES Mega Man games. It's not bad for an early, portable Mega Man experience, and it captures much of what makes the console games fun, but it just doesn't live up to the quality of the games you can play on the big screen in your living room. Given that this title is often referred to as "Mega Man" given the lack of subtitle on the title screen, the first thing most people do is compare this to the 1987 original.
