This is nostalgia and I dont think the game has quite stood the test of time, but at the time Mechwarrior 2 was released it was awesome. 1st person view controlling your mech felt great. There was nicely many different mechs to buy and customize and gameplay worked almost perfectly. The game mechanics were nicely done so that you could shoot off mech's leg or arm etc."
