"
The reviewer underrates the game, but this is the only well-made review I found. I may be overrating the game because I haven't played the game for about 10 years."
"My guilty pleasure game.
McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure wouldn't have had such a bad wrap if there weren't commercial characters. Sure, the gameplay needed improvement and the plot is completely nonsensical, but there are some inventive levels, like when Ronald McDonald jumps across the ballerinas on the train tracks.
I haven't played this game since I was about ten, more than a decade ago, so I can't recommend the game; my rating is very subjective and nostalgic."

"
This game is probably ranked highly for nostalgic reasons, but the level design definitely has an imaginative and innovative weirdness to it. It's probably under-appreciated because of the commercial characters. I should replay it."
"This one is easy to write off at first glance as just another licensed piece of junk. I can't say it's for everyone, but I can say that it isn't what you would expect. You play as the titular Ronald McDonald on a romp through some of the craziest, possibly-drug-induced environments seen in modern gaming. The environments are unique and engaging, making for an above average platformer.
If you find it cheap, this one is certainly worth an afternoon of nonsense."
"This was the first game I ever beat. I'll never forget the night I beat it the first time. I went and woke up my mom and my brother and was so excited to tell them I beat it!!"
