The only reason this game doesn't have the full 10 out of 10 rating is because I don't actually own it. Other than that, it's just a fantastic game. The storymode is brilliant. I'm a sucker for film noir stories and no human being has ever been dealt a worse deal in life than Max Payne. Littered with scores of in-jokes and references to the previous installment of the series, this game is also fun... read more
This is a very beautiful game means this is a best shooting game ever. The storyline, graphics and style very very good than the first instalment. The very interesting thing is shooting at the time of jumping when the time slows down. The action is very good. The finding of path during max payne's dream is little confused but it is very interesting.

It wasn't over.
Released from prison through his contacts in higher orbs, Max Payne is back on the NYPD as a hero; but he is living a life of misery, tormented by the memories of his murdered family. One day, investigating a routine case, Max runs into Mona Sax. The mysterious and seductive paid assassin who joined Max in his revenge against Nicole Horne tells him that both of them are in great danger. Now Max needs to run against the clock, to solve the case which seems to be all about his murder. His only ally is a woman who's wanted by his own police dept.
Max Payne 2, the follow-up to the styled third-person action shooter, brings back the noir detective atmosphere, the stunning John-Woo-style action sequences, and the few survivors from the first game: Mona Sax is back, Vladimir Lev is back, Vinnie Gognitti is back, Jim Bravura is back, Alfred Woden is back, and the mysterious Inner Circle is working again.
Someone wants Max dead. Who? Why?
Max Payne 2 is built on the same engine as the first game, but it's been loaded up with all the special effects of next generation games. Dynamic shadows and lighting effects, cubic mapped reflections, and high resolution textures make the game look incredibly real. The "Havok" and "Ragdoll" physics engines take care of objects and characters respectively, creating an incredibly realistic and interactive game world.
Gameplay has been also enhanced, there are even more weapons, we can use two different weapons at the same time, there are NPCs who will join sides with us, and the much-acclaimed "Bullet Time" feature has been upgraded to version 2.0, in which Max's speed in "bullet time" increases as he gets more kills.
The game also offers several unlockable difficulty and gameplay modes, once finished.... (more)(less)

"I had beaten Max Payne a dozen times, now I couldn't wait to play the second one. I remember having it when it first came out, yet I didn't really get to play it much till a few years later. This one came off as more of a remake in my eyes of the first Max Payne game. I really didn't see how you can make a proper sequel the way the first one ended so perfectly.
So Max Payne 2 picks up where the first one left off. The storyline is interesting a bit but for me, it just fell short. I did like s"
"Max Payne returns to plough through a wave after a wave of bad guys and an even more ludricous storyline. Remedy has also wisely added some humour to the mix, so that the story is easier to swallow. A phenomenal action experience."

"When I played through this game the first time, I sat through the entire credits. Then I started a new campaign on the hard difficulty and started playing again. I really got caught up in the Max Payne atmosphere. It's like a good movie that allows you to take time out to shoot a lot of crooks. I really enjoyed playing this game, and I wouldn't mind owning it.
By the way, Max Payne looks nothing like Mark Wahlberg. Why they used him to play the movie role is beyond me."
