This one has you and 3 other Kirbys finding a way to save the mirror world. I recall having a good time with this with it's gameplay, the AI doesn't seen bad, and the map is pretty long. Maybe I give this one a replay later on. "

In this respect his legacy is rivaled only by towering names like Mario. Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is unique in that the developer, Flagship, mixes Kirby's well-known platforming with a different style of gaming: the open world sidescroller.

Platform: Game Boy Advance
Release year: 2004
Developers: Flagship, Dimps
The Kirby series has its conventional style of gameplay as well as an experimental side to it, and The Amazing Mirror fuses both into one of the all-time best Kirby games. In it his ability copy skills are put to the test as he explores a puzzling world with frequent need for certain abilities. Though the idea could have easily fallen flat if the map design weren't spot-on, Flagship intricately pulled it off.

Kirby's been known for his usual style, as well his frequent branching out, but here they're married in holy matrimony. The puzzles are fun and never mind-racking, and there's not a single flaw that draws one's attention away from the glory of it all. The controls, visuals, and overall presentation are solid and complement the gameplay perfectly. Truth be told, this is my favorite game of the series. "

I actually got to play the game to the final boss and 90% completion this time. Still wiped my memory upon turning it on later, to my dismay. I swear, Game Boy Advance cartridges are the worst for storing memory. Great game, though. I love the different palettes you can earn for Kirby, and having to re-do paths in the map over and over didn't really bother me. It's a great marriage of usual Kirby fare with the series' more experimental side. Taking into account the conf"
