Description:The object of the game is to defuse all of the bundles of dynamite in a laboratory by controlling either Professor Hector (Player 1), or Professor Vector (Player 2). There are forty phases in the main game, each more difficult than the last as R.O.B. is very slow in moving its spinning gyros, which are used to move red and blue columns up and down by placing one on a holder so the player can advance. To ease such frustration, the player can use the A and B Buttons on the second controller to move these columns up and down as well without using R.O.B. during play. The enemies in in the game are creatures called Smicks, harmless only if they are eating one of the turnips scattered randomly throughout the phases. They can be destroyed by crushing them with columns for 500 points. For every bundle of dynamite defused, 100 points are added to the player's score. When all of them are defused, the phase is over, and the player receives 100 points for every second left of the allotted time limit.
If the professor is bitten by a Smick, is crushed by a column, or fails to defuse all of the six bundles of dynamite within the time limit, then one of the chances the player has to complete the game is lost, and he or she must restart the phase. When all chances are lost, the game is over. In two-player mode, when a player loses a chance, the other will play. Both players alternate until they lose all of their chances.... (more)(less)
