"Released in 1990 in Japan, and in 1992 in North America, this was the last Dragon Quest/Warrior title to appear on the Famicom/NES console. It's also the first in a new trilogy called 'Castle in the Sky' (IV, V and VI and part of this trilogy).
Dragon Quest IV differed from the series by breaking up the game into five distinct chapters. The first four are told from the perspective of the Hero's future companions and the fifth one, from the hero's perspective, brings all the characters together"
