This game is clearly about an inter-species love and video games' first Snidley Whiplash, Mario, trying to weasel his way between those two lovebirds so he can have the lady for himself. You might not see things the same way I do, but if you've played this classic, I'm sure we can agree on at least one thing; this game is quite delightful.
RUNNERS-UP:
Galaga (Arcade)
Ms. Pac-Man (Arcade)
Frogger (Arcade)"
"Mario, Or As Jumpman He Was Known, Has To Rescue A Princess From The Evil Hairy Paws Of Donkey Kong (Then Simply Known As Kong). Both Of These Characters Would Go On To Be Nintendo's Iconic Characters!
Anyways, The Graphics Were Simple But This Was The First Challenging Game I'd Played & Easily One Of The Immortal Classics! I Mean, Despite All Those 100's Of Mario & Donkey Kong Titles Out There, I Still Love The Original!
10/10 For The Times I Finally Managed To Save The Princess!

"I watched my friend get to the finish so many times but could only make it occasionally myself, I think this game is a blast to play and like with all the games on the list I play it to mix it up from the newer modern games."

"Donkey Kong (1981), an arcade game created by Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, was the first game that allowed players to jump over obstacles and across gaps, making it the first true platformer. This game also introduced Mario, an icon of the genre."

"If there had not been Donkey Kong, I might be living a different life today. I don't know if it would be better or worse, but I like being surrounded by Donkey Kong and Mario and Pikmin and my other friends. it is about time to create new companions...." --DK creator Shigeru Miyamoto"
