"Since most of the game consists of Isaac battling through the ship being terrified and the story itself is pretty spread out and simple, it would make a really excellent and simple sci-fi horror movie. Don't hold back on the gore- actually the use of makeup and animatronics would be the icing on the cake in a Dead Space movie.

Dead Space is awesome. It's awesome to me for a few of the reasons some people don't like it. Most importantly, it's not the same type of scary that typical survival horror games are. The many weapons, ammo drops, and suit upgrades give the player much more power. I love this. It makes the game bearable to play for my fear-motivated brain. While I've gotten through maybe 3 hours of Silent Hill 3 in 2 years, I can play Dead Space every day and n"
