Chrono Trigger - Super famicom and SNES

Chrono Trigger is a game that all true RPG fans MUST experience before they can consider themselves fully fledged in the genre as a whole. It is an epic game that spans all of time. The characters in this game are brilliant, all fantastically written and cast, as they are all beings from separate periods in history. Their time frames run from 65,000,000 BC through to 2300 AD as does the plot of the game, where Cronos and his associates battle against the evil Lavos who seems hell bent on destroying existence. They are not your regular generic characters either, there are the human characters, Crono, Marle and Lucca. This was one of the first games I can remember playing that had multiple outcomes depending on who you beat it with, and at what point in the game. You've got a bunch of characters you pick up in the game to make your little team, lots of skills (magic and stuff), plenty of weapons, armors, etc. to buy and some fun character dynamics.
You can take plenty of hours exploring this game which is as great now as when it first came out. If you play SNES and rpgs, then you have to have played this one.
