While the graphics are wonderful, the locales and environments are amazing and highly detailed, some of it just seems out of place. Castlevania hasn't been about lush woods and architecture, I mean come on either wow me with monsters or scare the beejesus out of me! This game does neither.
The game starts out strong, gameplay is spot on and the controls just "feel" right. The programmers knew what they were doing. Eventually though you realize it's more a button-masher with bosses equating to "o” read more
