So here we are, Bioshock Infinite. My most anticipated game of 2013. A lot has been expected from Infinite since it was being developed by Irrational, the original developers of Bioshock, probably one of the best first person shooters ever. So after completing the game, did it meet the expectations? Not only does it meet the standards and expectations set by the original Bioshock, it is an excepti... read more

The game is set in 1912. You play as Booker DeWitt, a disgraced former private detective who's picked up a new case. Your goal is to find Elizabeth, a young woman who's gone missing and return her unharmed. The only problem is that she's being kept on this flying city. Columbia was once a symbol of America's success as a nation, floating around the world as a traveling World's Fair, a marvel of human innovation. But strange things have happened since Columbia's unveiling in 1900, and now the city has disappeared into the clouds.... (more)(less)

BioShock Infinite is a must-play game by all means...But I've been struggling to figure out how exactly I feel about it since I saw the credits roll. I don't feel like it's a "perfect" game like so many reviews seem to suggest...But at the same time, I have a hard time pinpointing any major issues I have with it to justify a lower score. In the end, I find myself flip-flopping bet"

I'm...not entirely sure how I feel about this game. It's very, very good, don't get me wrong....But I'm not fully convinced that it's deserving of all the perfect scores that it's been receiving. I'm giving it a 9 out of 10 for now...I might bump it up to a 10 after taking some time to reflect on it, and/or playing through it again. That said, I really enjoy the teamwork concept of Elizabeth and Booker. Elizabeth is never in your way and often helps out by tossing you items t"

WOW! I loved every second of this game, one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. Everything about this game just works. From the amazing story to the truly great characters, this is a must-own for any gamer. The only downside is that it has to end, man I need some DLC ASAP!
The Good:
+ Best First-Person Shooter I've ever played
+ Elizabeth is my favorite non-playable character ever
+ Excellent story and pacing
+ Mind-blowing ending that still has my mind working at double speed

So after completing the game, did it meet the expectations? Not only does it meet the standards and expectations set by the original Bioshock, it is an exceptional first person shooter game, a contender for game of the year and the absolute true sequel to Bioshock. Not Bioshock 2, this game.
So lets get the technical bits out of the way first before we delve into the story and gameplay. The game is absolutely gorgeous to look at and its mixture of cartoon like visual designs and realistic atmosphere gives it a timeless look. Columbia gives the” read more

The first Bioshock is one of the best FPS games ever made and while I thought Bioshock 2 didn't live up to expectations, Infinite looks like the true sequel to Bioshock. Aside from being a gorgeous looking game, going from the trailers, it looks like its going to have an amazing story with very interesting characters. I mean, it looks like they've already established the female lead, she has a very lovely looking design and her personality, being heavily promoted, is very interesting and likea"
