The title track "Electric Shock" is an energetic and rhythmical electronic-dance song. The song compares confused but exciting feelings after falling in love to an electric shock and the lyric expresses this feeling interestingly by starting each line of the word, ‘Jeongichunggyeok (“Electric Shock” in English)’ to make it even more interesting. Composed by SM's female songwriter Kenzie, the track "Jet" is a lively track with hip-hop rhythms and electronic dance, in which Amber was directly involved with the writing of the lyrics of the rap. Composer Hitchhicker also brought a track called "Zig Zag", which is about escaping the reality and traveling to another world, and the track "Beautiful Stranger" features Amber, Luna and Krystal mature singing and performance with a urban and hip-hop feel and composed as a dance-pop and electropop song, story of a girl who communicates with strangers not with the closed attitude but with the open mind and explores the unknown world. The other two tracks include "Love Hate", a bubblegum pop song which the lyric wittily depicted the prelude to the intense love where the couple wanders between love and hate, and "Let’s Try" which draws influences from reggae, making it a total of 6 tracks to be included in the mini-album.
