I just bought this Dvd set for 20 bucks at Wal Mart, and its great! This show came out in the mid 90s and had a decent following. The show is pretty much about a group of people that are traveling between parallel worlds.The main character Quin tests his new invention in which opens up a wormhole that allows him to "slide" into it and travel to another alternate earth. During the first "slide" they encounter a problem in the earth they are visiting and have to make an early slide back to their earth.(They slid into a world where the entire earth is frozen solid and a HUGE twister is bearing down on them) Due to having to slide early, the sliding gadget malfunctions and sends them back not to their original earth, but a different one.
