Saw III

I really wish they would have left "Saw" alone after the first movie. The first one was excellent, with an actual story that was well done. Yes, it was gruesome at times, but it was full of suspense, and left you guessing until the end.

The second movie, in comparison, was NOT good. Despite this, I picked up the third movie the other day, since I have seen the other two. Right from the start, I was less than impressed. Bad acting, predictable story---and not a good story either.

They really need to stop making these movies. All they are doing now is showing gruesome, graphic violence while wrecking what was once a great idea for a film.

For me, the third installment of the Saw horror series fell far short of the previous two. High on gore but the twist that we have all come to enjoy just didn't carry the movie. I think the lack of a character opposite Jigsaw really hurt this precursor to the obvious sequel that will come in time.
