The rerelease of this 1985 production marks the relaunching of the Rainbow Brite franchise, following the successful returns of other '80s era cartoon characters like Care Bears and My Little Pony. Nostalgic young parents will revel in the big hair and big shoulders, and little ones will just enjoy the pretty horses and the colors.
