As the off-beat comedy adventure The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya continues, life gets weirder for the members of the SOS Brigade. Unhappy with the small number of hits the Brigade's web page has been getting, Haruhi designs a new logo. This seemingly innocuous clump of data sends the president of the computer club into an alternate dimension inhabited by an "info entity" that takes the form of a giant cricket. To keep Haruhi's mind occupied so she's not playing hob with the universe, Itsuke arranges for everyone to visit the island estate of a rich relative. The harmless club retreat turns into an Agatha Christie-style murder mystery--just the sort of diversion soi-disant ace detective Haruhi's been hankering for. The outré mixture of farce and fantasy in Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has made it a fan favorite on both sides of the Pacific. Also includes BONUS DVD with Original Broadcast Order (Episodes x subtitle only) It seems that Haruhi has made a full recovery from her state of melancholy, and is back doing whatever she wants. And even though all club activities are supposed to be suspended for the exam season, the SOS Brigade still continues to meet. But at least we've got something to do this time, as the computer club's president has gone missing and his girlfriend has sent us to look for him! But what does it have to do with the new SOS Brigade logo that Haruhi's come up with? The SOS Brigade finally gets a vacation when Haruhi drags us off to an island villa owned by one of Itsuki's relatives. But when does the SOS Brigade really take a break? We're going from a closed space to a closed circle as we find ourselves trapped in the middle of a freak storm. To make matters worse, there's a murderer on the loose. This couldn't be all Haruhi's wish could it? She wouldn't want anybody to die.... right? Genre: Comedy/ Action/ Mystery/ Sci-Fi/ Slice of Life.
