better than it looks

everything about this movie reeks of bad, and its not at all. when i got this dvd i thought i was in for some really cheesy bad, straight to video no budget horror slop. in fact its a fairly slick filmed movie with unknown actors who are actually good. the plot is basic fair: a group of kids go out to a cabin for partying, a stranger appears, and everything starts getting bloody from there. the stranger has some sort of disease and before you know it so does everyone else. in the meantime everyone is trying to help or get out of the situation which is bloodier than most films and quite gruesome. you do feel for these people enough to find it queasy rather than funny. and there's enough suspense to keep you watching. all in all its a kind've under the radar gem that i've wat...Read more
