"In 2005 Cat Power's "He War" was played before Nine Inch Nails concerts. That same year Trent Reznor played the song, when he was guest-hosting the "Radio One Rock Show" and said about it: "This is from Cat Power, the track is He War. This is a song that when I first heard it, I really didn't understand it, I didn't really get what it was about, and it didn't really seem to make sense to me. But I found after I got the album that I would keep listening to it and it's grown to be a favorite track"
