Description

"Softly he brushed my cheek, then held my face between his marble hands. 'Be very still,' he whispered, as if I wasn't already frozen. Slowly, never moving his eyes from mine, he leaned toward me. Then abruptly, but very gently, he rested his cold cheek against the hollow at the base of my throat."

As Shakespeare knew, love burns high when

I agree. The books are addicting! ^^ It took me a week to read the whole series (fast reader). The only thing bugging me is the movies...and crazy crazy fans...and mass marketing...they're killing it for me DX

To all the Twilight haters....

Okay so, for the people on this page, what is your problem? Do you guys get joy from bad talking things that other people like? I mean seriously. Just leave the book and the people that like it alone. I like the book because it is something that interests me and that shouldn't matter to anyone else. If you didn't like it, great for you. You want a biscuit or something? Yeah Bella talks about Edward a lot but so what? She loves him. I think you guys have such a problem with this because you don't know what it's like to love someone and until you do you shouldn't say anything about it. Leave the people alone that like it and leave the poor author along. This is her job, she wrote a story that a lot of people like and she should be proud of it. You think you can do a better job at a storylin...Read more

Um conto de fadas dark.

Posted : 9 months ago at Feb 20 15:03

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb...

Apesar de t...Read more

Muita conversa, pouca ação, e isso me irritou. Aventura?

Overrated.

Posted : 11 months, 2 weeks ago at Dec 10 10:24
This is the most teenager overrated crap I've ever read. And I am saying this as a 17 year old girl that usually likes best sellers. The cover says it is one of the best suspense novel ever written. Readers say it's adventure. Honestly, all I saw was a cheesy romance, with really-not-deep characters. All Edward can do (besides everything, because he is a Gary Stu) is laugh. An ironical laugh, a cute laugh, that smile that Bella loves so much because OMG, HE'S SO FREAKING PERCFECT! C'mon, it's pathetic. And, of course, the dark prince charming fell in love with a Mary Sue, who were absolutely nothing back in Phoenix but magically were transformed into the better girl in Washington State, the one which every single guy in town wants, grawr. Not to mention how crappy the vampire creation...Read more

Twilight was an amazing book. From the time I picked it up to the time I finished the last page, it was hard to put down. I loved the way Mrs. Meyer described things, I could easily picture what she was speaking about. I could picture the Cullens, Bella, and such characters. Twilight is in depth, very well written, and if you haven't read this book I greatly recommend this book. I, personally adore this book. I told my friend about it, and since that time I tried to explain the story to her, she has been consumed into the Twilight word such as I have.

"Do I dazzle you?"

Extraordinarily above my expectations

Posted : 1 year, 3 months ago at Aug 20 9:58
I'll be honest, I had assumed that this series was pointed more towards a female audience and thus avoided it for quite a while, I also never liked the current 'fad' of the public, so that caused me to avoid this series, don't get me wrong, I love vampire series and I loved this book, I mean, I've read Vampire Plagues and a bit of Cirque du Freak(Both excellent, less mainstream books) but finally my curiosity got the best of me and I borrowed this book. I started reading it after a few days of just staring at it, afraid of being disappointed or proven right. I open it up and Im at page 220 in one sitting... I finish it the next day... The description, even in the beginning is amazingly elaborate yet so basic and understandable, the story is confusing in certain parts, but even the beginnin...Read more

Pretty Good Start To A Vampire Series

Posted : 1 year, 5 months ago at Jun 6 3:24
When books and movies become popular and a fad I usually shy away from them until the curiosity gets the better of me. Which is pretty much years down the track for a movie or at the end of a book series. Curiosity won out far earlier then I was expecting and I'm glad I gave in. This isn't exactly a masterpiece, it's not ingenious writing, it's not even crammed with detail but it was very absorbing and extremely hard to put down. You can't help but warm to these characters. Especially when the main one is such an endearing, although sometimes slightly daft, klutz. The vampires also aren't your typical vampires which is fine by me because although I like my typical vampires I also like a bit of a twist and this offered that. Plus there's presenting vampires with moral conscience which cou...Read more
