In Tales of Mars, the last epic adventures of John Carter, Warlord of Mars, are about to unfold.
In Llana of Gathol, Carter rushes headlong into danger as he searches for his lost granddaughter, Llana. From clashes with Lum Tar O, the undead corpse plaguing the city of Horz, to enslavement by the Black Martians, to the infiltration of the brutal army of Hin Abtol, John Carter, Pan Dan Chee (Llanas sworn suitor), and even Llana herself struggle against impossible odds to live and fight another day.
In John Carter of Mars, two more epic tales find Carter battling it out with enemies far and wide. First, Carter must rescue his beloved Deja Thoris from the synthetic man known as Pew Mogel. Mogel intends to conquer Mars. But first, he has to get around a very angry John Carter....
In the second tale, Carter is kidnapped and taken to the faraway world of Jupiter where a warlike race known as the Morgors intend to have Carter serve them. The Morgors hope that he can give them the information they need to make Mars an easy conquest. But when Carter wont oblige, hes tossed into prison, with a slow and painful death as his reward. Unless, of course, he can somehow escape....
