Kami-chan's opinion: I prefer the manga.
The anime had its good phase but it is long over. Reading Naruto is always enerttaing or thrilling and provides so many creative ideas. The series' animation got weaker as the countless seasons increased and it also has a massive amount of filler arcs that are ungodly stupid and boring.

"I don not remember too well which manga was my first one. I could have been Detective Conan but MÄR as well. Or Naruto. And I'm going with the latter because this series is the one I'm still reading (since it's not finished yet) and that managed to draw me to it till today. The plot that is dragged on in Naruto is at least more logical and useful than the one of Bleach for example. I quickly learned to love certain characters and the universe and although it can be (waaaay too) over the top at "

"Preferred Title: Naruto/ Naruto Shippuuden
Rating: 9 out of 10
Status: Incomplete
Volumes: 1, 4-5, 7-9, 11-13, 18-54
Personal Comment: I was actually never fond of completing the 1st Naruto Series so that's why the Shippuuden Series is the more complete one. But eventually I want to possess all of them after all. It just looks better. Still I'm staying up-to-date via online scanlation."
"I'll be the first to admit that the quality of this manga has significantly reduced after the first 25 or so volumes. Even though I know it's not the best thing ever, I still like it because I've spent so many years reading it. For me, nostalgia does count for something. At the end of the day, ANY long running shounen will decrease significantly in quality after the beginning volumes. Such is the way of things."

"Aloitin siis tämän sarjan ja pari ensimmäistä volyymia oli varsin viihdyttävää ninjailua.
Päätin olla lisäämättä enää mangakirjoja tähän listaan, koska en kuitenkaan jaksa jokaista kommentoida ja esim. 30 mangaa peräkkäin listassa tekee siitä vain tylsemmän 'lukea'."
