I loved the first 100 pages in as Greg opens up a new World for the reader. It's an interesting idea too and I would have loved to have seen this idea explored better. Sadly Greg blabs on and on with how bad the cold war is getting and I don't want to spoil anything but nothing surprised me in regards to the out come of this war so that whole sub plot was a waste of time for me to read and I just kept losing interest.
