My favorite books (24 books items)

"What is is about? It is the story of the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont, two rivals (and ex-lovers) who use seduction as a weapon to humiliate and degrade others, all the while enjoying their cruel games and boasting about their manipulative talents. Personal note: To be honest, it took me a while to get into it but it was really worthwhile and the whole thing turned out to be quite spellbinding to read. I especially loved those seriously despicable characters. Quote: "When o"
