... I thoroughly enjoyed every part of this book. The writing was loose, friendly and quite endearing. Having already seen the feature film of the same name, I was already familiar with the characters, but if I had begun my Lemony Snicket experience with the books, I still would have found them intriguing.

A capa, o título, a adaptação cinematográfica... Ao decidir ler o livro, sabia que estaria lendo um livro de conteúdo infantil. Um livro para crianças? Quantas crianças aguentariam, ou mesmo entenderiam um livro de conteúdo tão prolixo - uma palavra que aqui significa um texto longo, com palavras difíceis a ponto de me fazerem andar com um dicionário ao lado, coisa que não fazia nem ao... read more

This is one of those things best experienced twice, once as a kid and then again as an adult or teenager. There are things you wont get the first time that only a more mature person would get, and it only gets better as time progresses. Brilliant in every use of the word (except as a shiny object, that wouldn't make any sense). Lemony Snicket is a genius.

Aqui não faço uma crítica a este livro, Mau Começo, mas a toda a série.

Certamente é uma série brilhante, bastante inteligente... Eu mesma passei a me interessar por anagramas depois desse. Suas personagens principais, Violet, Klaus e Sunny são ricos em detalhes, com habilidades próprias e bastante necessárias no decorrer de” read more
